Latest Craze

Do you know about Dragon Fruits or Pitaya? They are one of the most widely distributed members of the cactaceae family, and are now found on six continents. It's my latest discovery. When my mom first introduced me to it, I thought it might be poisonous but still tasted it. And to my surprise it taste great. Aside from it's very beautiful shape and color, Dragon fruit serves many purpose. The dragon fruit flesh can be white, red, or magenta all to varying degrees dependent upon variety. The red fleshed varieties contain lycopene which is a natural antioxidant known to fight cancer, heart disease, and lower blood pressure.
